I started two hubs but they didn't feel right so now I want to cancel/delete them. Am I able to...
do this without them being published?
just delete them. If you don't publish them they won't get published.
Before you delete them... keep in mind that if have chosen good titles/keywords in your URLs then you will also loose the ability to use those URLs again.
Sometimes it may pay to keep a good URL and simply rebuild the hub again from scratch, so that you can capitalize on your keywords.
If your titles are not that great anyway; then sure delete and don't worry about. Good Luck.
Thanks SaiKit and Pearldiver, you've both answered this question. Pearldiver I did think about keeping them but they just didn't feel right so I thought best to just delete them and be done with it.
