What you do is... Read their hubs and at the bottom is a comments box and rating buttons. (which means use them).
If you want to fan someone... then under their avatar it says follow ...(who ever).. click that and it means you have fanned them... but look to the top of the page and you will see a comments box... leave your fan mail there and then click onto the send button and you have done it.

I tried to leave fanmail both yesterday and today but could not. Instead, I get the message, "You don't have fanmail." Anyone else having this issue?

Most authors answer their readers' fanmail. I've received several notes from followers that were so thoughtful that I'd like to be able to answer them without having to go through their profile and send an email. It would be nice to be able to reply to our fanmail like we do to our comments.
