How can you get you and your hubs noticed?
I have been leaving comments and replying to forums and that doesn't seem to help!
Write good content. Comment on other hubbers Hubs. Check out the forums. Publish, Publish, Publish. I am a newbie, so you should check out the Hub Helping Center at
I see you've only been on Hubpages for two days. First, welcome. I'm sure you will have great experiences here.
As to your questions, your hubs are nothing more than webpages. As with any webpages, it may take several days to a couple of weeks for the search engine spiders to find your hubs and index them. Once they have been indexed they will start appearing in search engine results when people search for the topics you write on. They can then follow the search links to your hubs.
As wordsscriber said, continue to write more good quality hubs. The more hubs you write the more potential traffic you will have. Make use of the tags feature so that your hubs will appear when people search for hubs by topic. Also, be sure to link between your hubs on similar topics. Participation in the forums is also a good way to get people to visit your profile and possibly your hubs.
In closing, don't get frustrated. It can takes weeks and months to develop a large amount of traffic to your hub. There is a lot to learn here on Hubpages. Have fun with it! - Richard

Does this site really benefit from people writing almost identical hubs on the same topics? When somebody arrives they are told to write, write, write, write. 30 in 30 basically. I am being a little...

It looks like a fourth of my feed lately is comprised of new people wanting the rest of us to tell them how to write. All day I get request after request for help on passing the Quality Assessment. I mean Really? Many of your requests are just one step above being a jumble of mis-spelled words...

I've come to the conclusion that in order to get people to even look at your hubs, you must post in these forums. It may help get a few more fans, but if it doesn't, what have you lost. I've come here to hubber's hangout to see if anybody will become curious about my writing. I'm guessing I'm not...

I took a hiatus for awhile from Hub Pages! However, in the past week or so, I have added new hubs participated in forums, asked a question or two, participated with the Hub Hopper, have read some Hubs, yet my Hubber Score is lower than it was when I was doing nothing. I don't get it!

There are a lot of us who haven't been feeling safe on the forums. They've felt stalked, harassed and browbeaten.Sadly, some folks go with the letter of the law, but not the spirit of it in their posts. For an excellent post on why we need Forum Moderators, check out what Makingamark says here...
