Is having an Author score of 88 ok after 6 weeks ? I am hoping to get to be on the hubber list...
but I notice you need to be top 90's .
I have one hub on 80 but most are in the 60's so I am trying to improve them
88 is probably not bad at all for six weeks. I have several Hubs in the 60's, but I also have others in the 70's, 80's, and 90's (so even though trying to get those in the 60's is a good idea, having a few won't hurt your score too much). Traffic (and getting voted up) helps each Hub.
I haven't looked at your Hubs, but some things you may want to try (if you haven't already) might be adding capsules (if you don't have too many), participating in the forums (so some people may click on and vote your Hubs up), do whatever you can to increase outside traffic, and read and add "real" comments (not just meaningless ones) other people's Hubs. There's lot of help on the site (on the forums, in Hubs, in the blog), so you could search for something like "increasing traffic". (Running spell-check can catch any typos that may cause readers not to vote up.)
Other than that (although I don't know, of course, because none of us really knows what goes into our scores on any given day), there's a good chance your score will go up in another few weeks (if not sooner).
That's a good score. My score fluctuates all the time. I am rarely here so I expect to NEVER see 90. hahahahha
While you are publishing new hubs (which always start at 50), you are dragging down your cumulative score. There is simply no way to be fully active and get or keep your hubscore in the 90's. I wrote a bunch, and stopped. I eventually hit 94. After deciding to publish a bunch more hubs, I was back in the 80's.
The system is meant to reward long term publishers, not new starters. Don't expect to get into the 90's until you have enough high score hubs published that new entries won't drag you down. I expect that will take many months.

If my author score gets higher, will the scores of my hubs get higher? Also, if my author score is higher at the time that I start my hub will that affect the scores of my hubs?

What make a writer's score to decrease. I got a decreased score, not offended by it but just want to know the reasons and how to improve

I'm finding it difficult to reach 100 hayz, my highest so far was 99 few weeks ago, and last week 98, now I'm stuck with 94-96. When I posts hubs sprinkled with research my author score gets hurt and wounded but we need traffic to boost our stock right, and research is the best way to accomplish...

Just curious why my author score is dropping....My first few hubs were basically promotional and shorter and I had a score of 79. It has dropped to 67 as of today after a new hub I put up that was not promotional and has gotten more traffic than my other hubs. I have deleted a couple of hubs. Will...
