Any suggestions as to how I might improve my Hub #? It's been hovering at 60 despite daily posts.

I skimmed over your hubs and maybe longer hubs on different subjects would help.

Also try to break them up with some photos and a video if possible.

In addition to the low-level of Hub development that Stacie just pointed out, you also have to consider that having a link to the same site on every single one of your Hubs is considered overly-promotional and results in your HubScore being docked.

    Good advice, Stacie & Relache.
However, TC, not everyone wants to read longer hubs. Two of my three "most viewed hubs" are rather concise. I'm logician. As a journalist, you know the conventions & elements of writing. But do you know the psychological perspectives of writing?
In short, (1. hub length) most men want 'em short & to the point; most women want the extended journey into the creative wordplay of the hub. (2. hub name) if it's a hub aimed at women or more appealing to ladies, use a title that speaks to them: "The Art of Composition Using Classical Latin Techniques"--women would read this quicker than a guy. "A Tale of Two Lies"--men. Notice neither title uses gender hints. (3. hub appearance) use bold face, CAPS, other punctuation methods, this effects your score. yes, always use a photos if applicable. (4. don't publish it right away) Initially I didn't immediately publish "Beware of Misleading & Deceptive Hubs" because I wanted it to be a 2-part series. At first the score was about 52, after I half completed part 2, I was ready to pub. But I either misplaced it or accidentally deleted. So when I published part 1 it debuted IMMEDIATELY at 69 score! (5. hub incentives) utilize the capsules "polls, quizzes, links, rss, etc."
These are some tips to improve hub scores.

    Read the hub:
"How Hubscore Works" by hubber darkside. Excellent hub, you will understand everything about how your hubscores can be increased. Bookmark the hub and come back to it often for reference, I got a lot of help from this hub.

I used to have this same problem until I reviewed some Hubs by Rebecca_E who really has it goin' on in Hubland. My Hubs were long enough and broken into sections, but I generally was using only one graphic. Include reader polls, videos, and what I found works well is to develop links within you Hub. The 'suggested links tool' is OK for that, but as you are writing the Hub, keep in mind the titles and content of other Hubs you've written which would be relevant to the subject of your current Hub. Also, the Hubs of other authors. Keeping the content interesting and a 'good read' will bring more comments which always helps.

To get those, make it a point to review the Hubs of others and leave comments. They'll sure appreciate that and might just come back and read yours and return the favor. This is also said to bump up your authorscore, but that goes up and down sometimes, anyway.
