You know when you sign up on Ebay affiliates and they ask for your website url? Well I put my profile url as i read on here which is http://hubpages.com/profile/Stephen+Brno and ebay tells me:
"The domain must be preceded with 'http://' or 'https://' and must only include characters: A-Z a-z 0-9 / . - and _"
So what on Earth am I supposed to put? just http://hubpages.com???
As of August 1st, HubPages site users will no longer be able to use eBay, according to changes that eBay is making.
You need to read this,
Oh wow, that really sucks So does this apply to Google Analytics too? Because they are giving me the very same problem with the url
Yes - it applies to any "application" where you need to upload code to the root domain, or have access to the code for the individual page
Once you publish a hub, you can use that url for Google Analytics. As long as you enter your ID number in affiliate settings, all of your Hubs will be tracked, not just the url you gave them.
I wanted to bring this up again because I am confused about this issue as well. The "+" sign is not acceptable in the website url at epn. Do we just use hubpages.com?
