    Hi Folks,

I had a question for you all.  I was wondering if it was against the Hub Pages TOS to make a hub for the purpose of getting people who blog or hub on a certain topic together to form a cooperative guest blogging blog.  To be used to promote infomation sharing, backlinks, marketing strategies, and a feeling of fellowship in a niche that tends to lack a sense of community.

I do not want to be too specific because theres a note off to my right about "advertising and promotional posts"

I did read the TOS however they mainly talk about excessive linking and pornography, but I didn't see any links to pornography so I left.  Little joke there.

I was going to send a message to a few people but it said not to send the same message to multiple people, so I thought I'd make a comment but it said not to use comments for promotion.

I am not interested in breaking any rules or causing a riot or anything like that so I was wondering if I could have a little clarification on what exactly "Advertising and Promotional" means.

    Thanks for your help,

    Dwippy

LOL I'm not asking for trouble, I'm making sure I don't get any.  I'm a conformist, I like to know the rules so I do not break them by accident.

I doubt that making a hub about it will break rules. But it may not give you the results you want.

You'd be better off just doing it yourself. You could have the invitation for others to join mentioned in the sidebar, even as a graphic. But prove yourself by doing it. If you find an audience, you may also find a likeminded and driven individual who wishes to participate.

But before you kind find people like that you must be in motion.
