was there a flood? a fire? what happened to them. In an interview, jimmythejock says that Hub Junkies by Drax is his favorite hub. This hub mentions these (at the time) seemingly very popular hubbers:
Chyna Doll
Goga
Hummer Winblad Venture Partners
Paul Edmondson
Geek
jstankevicz
Webber
Ralph
Cam
Drax
Moonmaiden
Robin
LiveLonger
StuartJ
James
where are they now? How many hubber generations have passed before we got here?
I got here about a month ago. Ive seen new people, and people leave already. Some people have a life, and move on. Some people join for money and give up fast. some peoiple join for money and sitck it out, and some people join for fun. Other people are moody and like drama. who knows why they come and go?
Perhaps there was a final battle between the good and evil?
I've never heard of any of them, except Paul Edmonson.
I think he's one of the owners of HubPages.
LOL Ralph (Deeds), Drax, Moonmaiden and LiveLonger are still around.
Paul Edmodnson was the owner, along with Paul Deeds and Jay Reitz, last time I checked.
Seen StuartJ not too long ago.
Others seem vanished from HP...
Some of them are probably still here under "alter-ego" names.
denisematt, I'd like to mention the people who stay on here for quite a while precisely because they do have a life, may be very busy most of their waking hours, and may enjoy taking a break and doing a little writing as a way of doing something "just for them". I think a lot of people came for the writing enjoyment and stayed for the money.
very very interseting.
I love it when people make me say..."duh, that was so obvious"
but its just that I didnt think of it in that direction.
Of course most people are very very busy, and need a break.
I am glad some people find this to be a break.
I came for the money, and am staying for the writing enjoyment!!
That hub was published less than 2 months after HubPages launched, and includes the names of some of the very earliest users.
Paul Edmondson is the CEO of HubPages, and still hubs today. James is his brother, our current graphic designer. Cam is another brother, who used to work at YieldBuild. Robin is Paul Edmondson's wife.

He's a member since 7 years, has published 55 articles which have been read over 1,000,000 times and he makes over $...

First, I want to apologize if you've heard this question a 1000 times before, but I'd be grateful if you could advise me from your experience. If I was to publish a large number of hubs across various topics, each targeting a well researched keyword/s, is it realistic to aim for an average daily...

I stopped being active about the time Maven took over HubPages. Before that I had been writing for HubPages and Squidoo. Even got a little promotion to Canadian Editor... shortly before Squidoo shut down. I like the idea of HubPages, a community of people writing about assorted topics. I was a...

I made two hubs and both were rejected -I can understand that. What I do want to know is if the site can make money for me, and if so, how can I do it?
