Pouting over accolades...
I really want to get more accolades & I've been trying to be a very active member. When I look at other profiles I see so many of them & then there's me - with just 3 Right now I want the "read over 1,000 times" one. Which accolade are you shooting for?
1 million views for sure!
Also targetting 100 followers as short term goal (21 more to go) lolz!
I've been shooting for the answered 50 questions one...It's taking a lot longer than I anticipated.
They don't really mean anything, take it from me.
People's comments are worth much, much more and really sit with me as confirmation that my hubs are hitting the spot - or not.
I would rather have the read over 100, 000 times accolade that would mean a lot to me!!!
I'm shooting for the accolade that they have today (for some obscure reason) taken away from me????
It was for encouraging new hubbers and flagging spam in the forums.. Which as a positive person I believe I do alot of... (Pity we can't Flag the petty people who mark down those who take the time to answer questions though!!)
So... Maybe My Acolade has been recalled because someone didn't really appreciate the way Kiwis talk or just because it is felt that if you give... you can take!! (A bit like marking down everyone's answers to these questions, as I'm sure someone will do to me here) I want my acolade back.... I had a full set of 11.
@ Nick B.... In the process of inspiring people to write for peanuts and have them feel a sense of achievement for their efforts.... Believe Me... they really do mean more than you consider them to be. Moreso, when indian-giving is a factor!
Yes hub comments are also important in regards to traffic.
Marking down people's valid answers to questions... tends to be merely a spiteful act.... But... It doesn't change the honesty of the answer!!
