Experienced hubbers, is it often the case that your best hub is one which you wouldn't...
have expected, and one which you wrote believing would be popular gets little interest?
I wrote a poem called 'I Am The Best' which I don't think represents my best work at all, yet it's currently my 2nd best hub?!
I much prefer 'Prize Possession', I wrote it for last Christmas and is the 2nd worst hub! What's going on? lol. Maybe it's just the theme, or maybe the reader is always right.
I don't think that's unusual. We all have favorite subjects and styles, but that doesn't mean the general public does.
My best performing hub was written expecting perhaps 50 views a month after some aging, but it topped that in 4 days and got over 700 its first 30 days. You just never know.

Sounds like there are lots of changes going on, and it seems that many Hubbers are discouraged. If you were starting from scratch on the site, would you still put in the effort to build your portfolio of hubs here, or would you write primarily for other sites?
