There has been an increase in my traffic but click rates are falling dramatically. I've been seeing some google ads on sidebar but they seem to disappear. I guess sidebar ads were doing good although we can't track the ad positions at hubpages. Does anyone has same concerns??
I've seen a horrid drop in clicks lately myself. Granted, I'm sitting at about 0.70% CTR, but still.
I chalk it up to the holidays. The people who may normally be clicking are not because they know what they want to buy where and for who.
Does that make sense?
I'm thinking all of the people who go online because they are bored at work are home for the holidays right now!
It seemed during the holidays I didnt make as much sales clicks etc. I normally take this time
to get ready for spring. Sounds crazy but I start writing about gardening and stuff like that. Valentines day etc.. By the time it gets circulated its spring.
Let's see with the end of holiday.
Paul my word to you :
I really loved those sidebar ads anyway )

I was thinking these two things can't be so harmful to my...

Can it go against Google rules if they have deliberately done this thinking they are helping you? I am worried because I just had a comment posted saying "thumbs up and adsense."

So, I've heard about click fraud, and I know not to click my own ads, but when it comes to friends and family, how broad does that go? Is there anyone in particular I should tell NOT to click the ads on my hubs?

I got into an interesting discussion on another thread, and thought it would make a good thread itself. The question of the day is how do you feel about other hubbers clicking on an ad in your hubs?Personally I really don't see a problem with it as long as the ad interests them from a good quality...
