    I've seen hubs which are clearly website and software adverts are they allowed?

    Some of them even linked to websites which looked a bit dodgy

    No that is not allowed though some extent but slowly and gradually hub page will block this or band that user

    I have to say this is not completely clear in my mind either.

    I wish HP would give better examples or provide feedback on our HubHopping - if we flag a hub that they do not think is a problem, let us know so we don't waste their time by flagging another one like it.

    i've about given up - i've flagged dozens of hubs that are nothing but blatant shills for particular products, not even the pretense of a review.  none have been removed.
