If you want money, no. Internal traffic (hubpage members) do not click adverts or buy items. The traffic you want is external - from search engines.
However that said, you should still look around the site and read hubs. They will teach you how to write your own better as well as give you ideas for new topics to write about.
Some top hubbers have also written guides explaining how to write great hubs, that can be of great assistance to new members.
I think it might be. If you answer in such a way as to interest other potential viewers then they might just say "who is this".
This is not one of those answers unfortunately.
Anything that adds links to your profile or hubs is never going to hurt. It may not mean that you get lots of extra Adsense clicks but it seems to help your profil ranking and hub ranking which will be beneficial indirectly. Plus it helps to spread good karma through the community which can be no bad thing either.
