Whenever my hubscore goes up, my overall Hubber score goes down. Why?
(I'm brand new today)
Welcome, I am new too, 3 weeks here.
Hubpages uses various method of hubscore and author scores, sometimes it is traffic, comments to your hub, your participation in q/a and forums and so on.
When you write new hubs and publish it, overall score will go down until your published hubs age and get more traffic.

I wish there was a way to turn it off. It goes up and down without reason, and it can be very distressing.

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? ...

A month ago I announced some updates to HubScore: raw traffic is deemphasized, reader satisfaction is emphasized, and overall, the scores are a more accurate reflection of the quality of Hubs than they used to be....

Evidently, hubber score has absolutely nothing to do with earnings. Yesterday was my biggest earning day EVER on HP, yet my hubber score is the lowest it's been in quite a while. That's okay - I'll take high earnings...
