Okay, so when I saw this challenge posted, I had exactly 19 hubs published in 19 days of being a member of Hubpages. It made perfect sense to me: "I can do this," I said to myself.
But there were some speed bumps, miscues, personal things going on and going awry...It was much harder to do it than I though it would be. I just couldn't live with myself if I cranked out some cheap hubs. I wanted to not only publish my hubs; I wanted them to shine.
To everyone who is doing this challenge, please try to make it work, as it will definitely benefit you--sure, it might buy you a trip to Walt Disney World or pay off your house, or even buy you a Happy Meal, but make you a few fans and get known through our amazing community!
To all of my fans, I appreciate your relentless support, especially when reading some of my RIDICULOUSLY LONG hubs! I appreciate it!
YAY dohn! You go dude! congrats on completeing the hub challenge. So proud of you and proud to be your fan...but dang it boy more reading? lol just kidding I have to catch up on your hubs.
Congrats Dohn! I wonder if this kind of a challenge helps in generating adsense revenue. There have been a lot of forum threads on this subject but unfortunately I've never been a part of discussions on this topic. Since you are participating in the challenge,I would certainly look forward to having feedback from you. Good luck.
Well Done Dohn!!!
lol. Yes your hubs were long, but they were all well written and of a high standard which you have maintained throughout.
Sunstreeks-Thank you. I appreciate your help.
Anjalichugh-Thank you and good question, concerning adsense...I've had a few days where I didn't make anything, some days where I made a penny, other days where I made $2.10...I guess it just varies. Two of my best days pulled in $4.20 and $5.10...I guess that in time, it will get better. But it is true about original content. Everyone should aim for at least 700 original words. It definitely was a boost! I'll keep you posted!
Thanks, Julianna! I couldn't have done it without you! I'm glad it's over, but I'm going to try to average one a day!
Ultimate Hubber-Hail Caesar!!! Where in Rome would I be without you??? Thanks for being a fan. I owe you some coffee (and aspirin?) for all the time spent reading my EPIC hubs.
Congrats, that's awesome! I'm almost there... 10 more and a week to go!
Well done mate, great effort and I hope you get loads of dollars from them !
Thanks Uninvited Writer. You know I couldn't have pulled it off without you!
Hey, Dohn - congratulations! Looks like I've got some reading to do over in your hubs.
Herald Daly-Please do! I always look forward to your comments. You know that!
Ladybird33-Thank you for fanning me! I just paid back the favor and plan to get to know you better!
Lady_E-Thanks for the tribute! I feel so much better now that it's over. Maybe from now on, I'll keep my hubs below 2,500 words
Nope, not yet. I still am waiting for my umbrella drink. A mojito or a banana cognac would be lovely

Hi friends,At last, I was able to publish my 300th hub today. I am very happy at the same time sad because I think I would have done this many days ago if there would not have been a sudden increase of workload at my workplace. It took me more than 2 years to publish 300 hubs but I think now I will...
