Can you explain the link process
I am new to HP. I have a prayer ministry and website for prayer requests. I do not sell anything on my site. I read most of intro. material but am still unclear about how to apply your rules to this subject matter. I would like to link my site to my H Pages. Thank you.
Yes, you can link to your own website. Simply insert a link in the content of a hub (using the link button) and paste the link of your website in there. But take care that it does not become overly promotional: if every hub has a link to your website and a hub only serves to get people to your website then HubPages won't like that.
In your case you don't get any commercial gain from linking to your site but it can still be considered 'too promotional' if you do it too much. Simply write informational articles about religion, ministries, prayer and related topics and link to your ministry when appropriate.
Thank you very much. I appreciate your time to answer my question.

I am working on one of my new websites - and I want to link back to my hubs here. How many times is this OK to do on a website page before it is overkill?

Specifically, has anyone submitted their best hub articles as writing samples to help get a job? I'm not talking about re-using hubs to publish somewhere else - I just mean using them as part of a resume, as an...
