Answer lots of questions here, put more info about yourself to give people a reason to follow you and see your hubs in your profile.
Write hubs, participate in the HubPages community by answering questions and leaving comments on hubs. You're only here for 31 hours, that's not enough for people to notice you. And at the end of the day, followers are not everything - they won't earn you money for example.
Write interesting hubs at least 6 hubs per week. Share your hubs to facebook, twitter and other social networking sites. Follow more hubbers.
To get more people, follow all the above steps.
