Tell me: Has anyone tried the following? To boost traffic to your hubs, have you gone back, and...
one-by-one, used the "update suggested tags" feature for each hub? Do you think this is a good idea?
Have used some of suggested tags but find a lot of them don,t make sense to me.
As long as you don,t have too many tags wouldn,t do any harm.
To the main point I haven,t seen any significant increase in traffic.
I've tired the update tags without much change in suggestions. I think reading the hub and pulling out key phrases is a better way to add tags. I got a comment last night about checking the hubs that come up under various tags too, sounds like a good thing, but I'm not sure how to make that work for me in terms of traffic yet. Basically, trying to find tags where your hub will come up near the top of the list for.
The suggested tags are often useless so I wouldn't go to all your hubs and add them, but editing your tags can be a great way to boost traffic.
I use google's keyword tool and google wonderwheel to find highly related phrases and also the keyword section in the hub stats often gives me ideas for new tags.
Add some broad tags and lot of specific ones (and make sure you add your main keyphrases). Broad tags I'd add on a hub about how to get pregnant for example, would include health, women's health, fertility, pregnancy. I'd also make sure I added how to get pregnant, get pregnant, pregnant etc.

I was just wondering how successful people are with the Hubpages ad program and if anyone had managed to make payout in one day yet. I have yet to earn over $5 in one day from the ad program. How about everyone else?

My favorite tip (currently) is to find related blogs on my hub article, post a nice comment, and use the url to my hub on that topic in the URL box for most blogs. Some do not have this facility so I have to think about what my comment is going to be so that it is valuable to the blogger! If I can...

Just gaging anyone else's earnings here. I just checked google adsense and I have earned 64 dollars in 18 months. I've only written 19 Hubs and most of them don't get any traffic. Any thoughts?

Quite a while ago we used to add our own tags to each hub. For example if we wrote about shoes we would use the tag box for words such as: shoes, trainers, new shoes, fashion shoes. And so on. Reading various articles around the internet I noticed that sometimes when the page hasn't loaded properly...

I thought I knew the answer to this question. But something interesting happened in the last week which I found it hard to explain. I'd be interested to hear opinions.I have a hub which is nine months old and had just reached 250-300 hits per day.I was experimenting to see how many tags I could use...
