I had a couple questions regarding HubPage traffic reports, and was hoping someone with more experience could fill me in on how to customize the displayed results.
My pages are still pretty new, and only a couple are getting near 100 views a day. Most are still between 10-20, and I am afraid a fair percentage of those results are from me viewing or updating the pages. I was curious if there is any way to exclude an IP address (like mine) from the traffic results, so I can get a more accurate idea of where viewers are coming from and not get my own view duration and amounts mixed in.
This is an issue I'm having with both hub pages, and google analytics, so if either of these could be optimized to exclude my page views I would love to know.
Good question. I'm curious. I'll be watching this thread for answers.
Google Analytics lets you filter out IPs, including your own. I think it only works going forward, not on any of the data you already have.
I haven't seen this capability mentioned for Hubpages.
Thanks for the info, I'll check more closely for that option in analytics.

If you don't have much traffic to your hubs it's easy to get your hopes up over your traffic statistics when in actuality, you are the primary contributor to those numbers. I just figured out how to exclude myself...

How do I figure out why or where a spike in HP traffic to one of my hubs is suddenly coming from? I'm not complaining, but it's curious, and I'm wondering if there's some sort of glitch or something.
