I am trying to comment on people's hubs as well as rate them up and for some reason Hubpage won't allow this. Also I was just looking around my account, goggle adsense, and it wouldn't even allow me to view this.
It says Error on page at the bottom and I have clsoed the Internet, logged out and logged back in, but nothing is working. Any help would be great! It's really annoying me!
do you know how to clear internet cache, cookies, off-line content?
and yea...no lol my husband does though but he isn't home from work yet AGAIN.
I think your problem may be that Goodfriendiam has changed her avatar to one similar to yours... And they think YOU'RE the tricky one!
Yea listen to the geek squad, probably the cookies ,temp file thing.
CW just give Windows a slap around the gills,lol.
slap?...Just throw it to the other side of the room:)
lmao but Pearldriver I am the tricky one HAHA we just share some of the same personailty traits scary huh? hehhee
try this...afterwards you may need to log back in
IE6->tools->internet options->delete cookies->OK
IE6->tools->internet options->delete off-line->click check box
IE6->tools->internet options->settings->select first radio button
scroll down an make sure Empty Temporary...is checked
If this does not work, it will help when surfing
LMAO this is my 2nd laptop...I can't throw it around lmao
and I don't know why but now the Error on page thing is gone..woohoo lmao
Yep it's on like Donkey Kong...yea that was lame lmao sorry
It just went away. I tried closing the internet again and it worked this time. lol
I spent almost 3 hrs with a Microsoft virtual rep called Mohamed,trying to figure why Windows Installer is messed up on my laptop, he called , he instructed , I prefetched , I deleted ,we hooked up (as ya do) lol...and as I swallowed a Tylanol he walked me through files that looked like the FBI had a room inside this lil machine ...in the end I said , this aint working Mohamed.
I cant get a new driver for Windows because it wont friggen ,ahem , excuse me , it will not install anything.
Restore , yes I would like too, but locked , moved , maybe the bank foreclosed it and forgot to tell me.
So here I am ,staring outside at a blue jay and thinkin wouldnt it be good if we had one day each week , with the power of flight ( yea dunno where that came from either)
did you try to install the Win installer again? It can be downloaded from microsoft
think it said you already have the updated version .
MS130-KB884016 Setup error
Set up has detected that the service pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying.
If Service pack 3 was installed, it should have come with a new installer but you said you tried to update the installer...hmmm...let me think
It does show service pack 3 somewhere, and when it was doing the diagnostic scan , im sure I saw servcice pack 3 being scanned.
Its like my PC doesnt know whats in there anymore, like files moved or corrupted maybe?
(like when I try to hook my digital camera in, its showing on the hard drive, but donk , no action) like wont upload
sp3 is known for this type of thing...looking into this...
mtsi ,dont wanna hold you up or tie up this thread , and thankyou for offering to help.
I have to go soon , but if it helps can you email me any suggestions.
Here is my findings...
If you are having problems with SP3 and windows installer...
You may need to uninstall SP3, then re-install the installer
update the windows installer from 3.1 to 4.5, check the version first then see the URL below

All this week, I've had trouble, worse each day than the day before, with S-L-O-W running on HP, horrible lags between clicking on a 'go to' link and the page actually loading.It is worse than being back on dial-up.It is neither my computer nor my ISP, as I am having this trouble only here, on...

A fellow hubber didn't like my plan to seek to promote my hubs through the HP Forum. Is it unfair ? Please reply giving reasons.

I just discovered at least one of my unpublished hubs appeared at the bottom of one of my published hubs, in the area where the site loads hubs we have written on similar topics. I reported this to admin but wanted to mention it here in case it will get spotted and fixed more quickly. ...
