Does Hub Pages have the cut & paste or copy deactivated to prevent plagerism?

My brother is a photographer active on Flickr, and I know they have the right click deactivated to prevent people from stealing other's photos.  Are they able to take the same measures here with writing?

Not as far as I know, because I've copied my own hubs just in case they ever got lost.

No, but there are ways to catch those that steal: even though you have copyright on HB research on google cos. that can track things on the internet for you, another way might be too peruse mags. at your local barnes and noble etc.that cover what you write about. Best thing is to search engine say; how to protect written copyrights. If you sue could claim any profits and/or damages.

I'm just getting started, so it hasn't happened to me, but I was curious what kind of safeguards were in place.  Thanks for the info about search engines, I wouldn't have known anything about that.

Do they do that at Flickr? I can right-click and copy there just fine...
