Do you go out of your way to help other Hubbers?
I had an idea today that if Hubbers went to Hub Pages to do searches for what they are looking for instead of the search engines, they would probably find it and help other Hubbers get page views and possibly ad clicks. Is there anything you do to helpful to the community?
I recommend hubs and send links to people that are not on hubpages if it is something that I think may interest them. I also share stuff on facebook that I think my friends or family may like to read about. I now search on hubpages before going to google to find recipes or something I need to know about right away.
I do try to share links with others, as well as recommend as many people to Hubpages as possible. In addition, I try to help people who are new to Hubpages with their basic questions about the site, help give ideas for marketing, and make video tutorials for people on different topics around Hubpages (and eventually branching out into other sites). I figure that, as they say, "a rising tide raises all ships" and that the better each individual does here, the better the site will do as a whole.
I'm a marital counselor and behavior consultant. I try to answer as many questions as I can that I think will help and strengthen fellow Hubbers.
I don't go "out of my way", but I do try help a few while sitting right here in front of my keyboard.
If a good number of people do a few things to help, it is not inconvenience or a chore.
In a small way I think. I certainly now look for information on Hub pages before a search engine and I do suggest links for people who have a problem.
I read and lend my thoughts on fiction when asked, but never in open forum. I send my thoughts via hubpages email. That way I can be honest and the person doesn't have to have critique visible to everybody. I hope it has helped some.
Yes.
It makes me feel better to help others. Besides, it's just a good thing to do.
Yes, because HubPages is a community, and to be a good member of the community I feel obligated to help other Hubbers. The favors have certainly been returned a number of times when I was looking for help.

Hi fellow Hubbers! I've been hubbing here at HubPages since year 2010 and I just can't believe that I haven't earn anything from my published articles since then, not a single cent! There's obviously something wrong. Any ideas? Please help! Thanks.

I simply don't get it! I have purposefully stayed away from searching on HubPages because it frustrates me. I now remember why. Why is the HP search page not bringing up the best of the best? I thought we were here to promote Hubbers above a certain score and to promote quality.MY EXPERIENCE WITH...

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs featured, which again seemed ok. Now magically overnight, I have all these codes now...
