I know quite a few hubbers have also been 'scooping' their hubs at this site and just wondered if any others had witnessed the following.
I've had a few adsense clicks via shetoldme.com but each one (within adsense) displays '0' impressions, '0.00' CTR and '£0.00' ECPM.
This is the first time I've witnessed this sort of behavior, can't really explain why this would be so, and wondered if I was alone in seeing this?
Many thanks.
I set up a seperate channel for shetoldme.com last night, I had not bothered previously. So I will keep an eye on it and let you know if I experience similar.
Thanks Ryan, I appreciate it, I'm sure it's fine but I'm a little wary of anything that doesn't interact with my adsense account in the way it should.
Maybe i should do that.
Do i do it just the same way as i do for my hubs here. Do we add it in the same 'add new channels' box, or must there be a totally different account for it?
prolly cuz SHE told you.
sory, I cant be of any real help, it hasn't happend to me. Hope you get it figured out and can block the site/person or whatever. What are they getting out of this? That is so random?
Oh, actually, I have had clicks resulting in 0 earnings. But no sehetold me.com. I have no idea if that means anything?
Chicken food? He-he. Get outta here, you hubaddict! Grrrr
Whoops, sorry missed you there DM, wondered what Misha was talking about 'chicken food' for, lol.
I don't wanna block it, I just want it to behave itself.
Well as we're talking about feet in mouths, allow me to pointlessly spam a link to one of my hubs.
<snipped - oh Mrvoodoo, you know better!>
Some hubber has their profile on the front of that site, which might explain the traffic from shetoldme.com. Looks like another site similar to digg and Facebook perhaps.
I think many hubbers are using it now, it's not the traffic, it's the Adsense stats/clicks that don't seem to be behaving in the way they should.
Hi SP, loads of us are using it now.... and it is great for traffic, uninvited writer signed about 60 or 70 of us up as her referral (she is now to be found sunning herself in St Tropez, whilst making about $5000 a day from adsense )
The difference between Shetoldme and digg is that people can make adsense revenue from the bookmarks, thats the part that Voodoo is concerned about....
I will definitely sign up Ryan. Thanks for sharing .
Yep, mine is doing the same Mr. voodoo, I was wondering about that but havent' had time to try and look into it. You guys keep me posted Thanks so much!
LOL That was a cool plug! Thanks for the giggles.
Have to run to pick up my kids from school, so ttyl.
Thanks for the info, Mr. Voodoo. Love your avatar, btw. Loved that movie, too.
Thanks RedElf, it is a great movie.
My pleasure, as this is the same for myself and Ladybird I'm guessing it'll be the same for all hubbers. I'm just trying to decide whether to remove my adsense ID from shetoldme.com or not, I like extra adsense money, even if it's only pennies, but I don't like things that play silly buggers with my adsense account.
p.s. I like your kitty too, although he looks like he might be about to fall, but don't cats always land on their feet? or is that toast?
You guys should look into this, i wouldnt trust my adsense id at that site

doing my PSA for the day
I've made less than $2 I have removed my AdSense from there. I'm keeping my account for what little traffic it brings...
I give up on this site, my links have been queued for a week or more.
mine are all still in the queue but...i have noticed an increase in traffic since i started posting them there. now that i am looking at stuff, i noticed that shetoldme is bringing people in based on what it says in my "Who's driving your traffic?" section. i took out my adsense id but am leaving my scoops. shetoldme says that even if they aren't on the front page, people read them.
I can't tell that I have gotten any traffic at all nor have I gotten any revenue. I have not removed my account or adsense, but I am letting it sit dormant.

Hi all,Just a short note that hopefully doesn't run afoul of AdSense's rules on telling your earnings.I will say that it took 8-9 months to get my first check from AdSense. My next check should be ready in about a week, and it's only taken 3 months this time.I've tried with various types of Hub...

Over the past couple of weeks I've seen a massive drop in "page views" in my Adsense reporting. Clicks have remained about the same. The drop seems to coincide with Marina's announcement of "More Ad Changes this Week" from a few weeks back. Is there something about the new ad...

My whole hub can be seen on two different sites. Though they gave a link to my hub at the bottom. But who is going to click the link after reading the article. Is it not copied content issue? Please see the link---http://gogurugo.com/article/carrot-deli …...

Considering that most people make less than $5 a day with it, I think it basically is. I understand that it has much more potential than that, but if someone wanted to make a living off of Google Adsense alone they would need tons of content and it would have to be very good content.Tons of people...
