   Can you lose your accolades? ...And why?
   
   I have heard of hubbers losing their accolades, eg. for commenting on hubs,  and wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

   Yes some accolades can be lost due to inactivity except those not related to numbers (100 followers, 1000 visitors, years on the site etc). Why? don't really know but I have my assumptions.

   Some of them you can lose. There is an accolade that you get when you help new comers and provide feedback.  I keep getting and losing it every day.  These kinds of accolades depend on your contined involvment every day.  They also depend on how much you do it every day.
   
   Others are milestones in your hub activity like answering at least 100 questions.  These cannot be lost.

   You don't lose them or any but likely will disappear especially when your profile score goes down below certain profile score like below 75. Many factors could cause that; HubPages learning center has more to say about profile/hub score. When it goes up again, the accolades will reappear. Talking from my own experience but that's not all there's

   I've recently lost my providing feedback though I hop Hubs and report or whatever like every other day.

   I am always losing my "voting up, voting down" accolade for a few days and then it returns.  It is confusing to me because I periodically hubhop and vote most of the time.  It has nothing to do with my score going below 75.  My score is pretty consistent - always between 88 - 93.  It is a mystery to me.

   Yes, I was very active when I first started hubbing, and I got ten accolades in six weeks.  I was so thrilled.  One has been doing a disappearing act for the past couple of weeks.. the one on participation, helping new hubbers, hubhopping etc.  At first, I got a little upset losing it.. ok, really upset. lol  So I started participating again although it's difficult to do since I'm very busy.  Twice it came back up, but now it's gone again.  Now I'm afraid to go to my profile page.. I don't want to see another accolade gone, or lord forbid.. more than one.  I might go out and get a litre of ice-cream and eat it all in one sitting... again.
