As a new hubber myself, I am not earning any money. I am only thinking of earning money "in due time". As recommended by many great hub mentors here, what I AM doing is writing (what I think and hope are) great, quality hubs. AND I'm reading forum posts and "How To Hub" hubs. I suggest you look at the Need Help? forum for the hubbers that are dedicated to us Newbies. Start with their hubs.
I read How To hubs, forums and HP info for 3-4 weeks before joining HubPages. I read another week after joining before posting my first hub. Lot of "dues" to be paid.
Write a great profile so that people will want to read your hubs. If I see your forum post, go to your profile for curiosity, but then there is nothing there to intrigue me to click on a hub to read...
