Why have I lost a follower?
And how do I know whether they left HubPages, or just disagreed with something I've written?
You would have to know exactly who the person is that stopped following you. You could send them an email through their HubPages profile and ask them.
Even on the list; a name has gone, there are now so many I can't remember so it must be a new face...
I might write my own list so at least I can ask for that reason, say Goodbye and wish them well in the future, and Thank them for the days...
I don't follow back as it is so easy to have one icon to click, that is when I can find the time. That may've been it or an error of judgement going into a forum guns blazing -A learning curve.
It does happen sometimes, so don't feel too bad. Perhaps they left Hubpages. I was a big fan of someone on here and he vanished one day. I miss reading his hubs, but people come and go.
Well, you couldve ask that person why. There are several reason why people disappear.
i think if anyone post illegal content or do unacceptable comments, it is the reason of lost their followers.

What has your experience been. Did you notice that the more people you followed, the more people followed you? Did you ever start following people just because you wanted more followers? I have been pretty selective in the people that I follow and I am totally happy with all of the awesome Hubbers...

When you are notified of a new follower, how do you respond?Do you go to their page and check them out? Do you read any of their hubs? Do you mke sure that they are legitimate? I have a lot of followers who seem to be advertisers. Hubpages are really good about weeding them out but I do see many...

Wouldn't it be great if we could de-fan a follower? If your asking, "why in the world would you want to do that?" Let me tell you. Recently I have been gaining quite a few followers which actually helped push my numbers over 200. That is great. However, most of these people have not only...

Ok so four people so far are "following" me and I would like to know what exactly that means. Are they just keeping track if I write new hubs or is it something more? I'm not sure why they are following me either, I just logged in one day and saw them there.
