Is there a way on HubPages stats or Google Analytics to discount your own page views for Hubs?
I've been at HubPages little under a month now and am beginning to get my head around how most things seem to work. However one problem I'm having is finding out how many people are viewing my hubs. I've signed up to Google Analytics but is there a way to change the settings so it doesn't take into account my views?
Any help would be much appreicated!
I just go to the Google earnings. The view are less but I can see that my pages are getting viewed and the information is very updated.
As for Google Analytics, here is a copy-and-paste from a post I made in the forums:
1] Click on the Google Analytics link from your HubPages account
2] Click on "Filter Manager" in the lower right of the screen that comes up
3] Click on "+ Add Filter" in the right side of the next screen
4] Choose a name for your filter
5] Click on "traffic from the domains" and change it to "traffic from the IP addresses"
6] Enter your IP address (http://www.whatismyip.com/)
7] Select your HubPages profile and click on "Add ->"
8] Save changes
The easier way, in my opinion, is to download the opt-out plugin from Google: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout . This accomplishes the same thing without having to go through the above.

I'm a bit confused and wonder if any of you have the answer. On my hubpage stats all my hubs have 4 or 5 stars for "View Duration" but on google analytics it's showing most visitors leaving straight away. How can that be? One of them must be wrong!

I saw where this issue has been addressed in the past and supposedly corrected. But for many weeks now, especially toward the end of the week and weekends, my HubPages stats will not update for hours and sometimes even days at a time. An example would be "Includes data from 17 hours ago and...

I know there have been a lot of changes and I really appreciate that. I also am looking forward to the new hub layout...but...with disappointment. In any business, one must first make their assessment about what works and what doesn't. The things that don't work, you either fix them or get rid of...
