Is there a restriction on the number of internal links (links to my hubs or those of other Hubbers) that can be used in a hub or on how related the subject matter of the anchor text needs to be?
If there aren't actual restrictions, are there any suggested guidelines?
I have a huge number of hubs that could be construed as related and I want to know how many can be safely linked together.
I've seen opinions on this subject in the forum but what I'm looking for is guidance from someone on the HubPages team. Pardon me if these questions have been answered before, but I couldn't find the information.
Thanks!
There are no specific restrictions on internal linking to other hubs, but excessive internal linking just like excessive external linking (which there are hard rules about) may affect your HubScore. Further, all links in hubs must be to relevant, related content. I think the right guideline for linking is to only put in links that will benefit a typical reader of your hub.

Hey everyone!I'm writing a hub about interlinking your own hubs, and I'm banging my head against a proverbial wall!I'm positive I read a hub about why interlinking your hubs is a good idea, and now I can't find it I think it was written by Mark or sunforged, but I may be wrong. FYI, it's not the...

Now, not before, when you place a link, you have a choice to click rel=nofollow so that search engines ignore it. So in future hubs that you write or if you want to go back and edit, do not check this box for links to your own hubs. Also do not do this for links where you want to help the site. But...

They'll be releasing an algorithm specifically meant to affect the rank of doorway pages. A specific that caught my eye was the fact that this could be relevant to internal linking on a domain. All sites use internal linking and it's been encouraged; generally it helps users find what they're...

I know this is going to be a big no, but honestly, I would be motivated to write more hubs and clean up old ones if I got paid 80% instead of 60%. Even 70% would motivate me more. Anyone else feel the same?

I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub which may be very relevant to the specific content in a section of a hub, if it...
