Is a warning for being overly promotional on an unpublished hub a bad thing?
I am working on a hub right now that will include links to several different sites. I went ahead and found the sites I intend to use and put them in an unpublished hub just as a way to save them. I intend to go back and actually write my article in the next couple of days when I have time. Anyway, it got flagged as overly promotional. I don't think it will be once I get the article part written, but in the mean time is that warning hurting me?
Good question. From experience I think as long as it's not published it doesn't hurt your standing in hubpages. We need to store info somewhere
It causes your HubScore to drop a little until you finish the hub.
I now have similar warnings on my hubs as I write and save them unpublished, but generally ignore them.
As you say when the hub is finished then the warnings will most likely disappear they have in my experience.
Hope this helps.
I have a same opinion like above unpublished hub doesn't hurt anything..
Yes! You should removed too much links on the page so that the warning will be remove.

Is there a balance of Amazon products on a page that makes a hub overly promotional? Or is it dependent on the individual hub (over and beyond the 50 words per product)?

Wouldn't it be nice if some explanation about the hub came with the above mentioned notices. All you get is the general notice that you hub is overly promotional or substandard and it needs to be fixed. If it is re-submitted and is not fixed properly you could be banned from...

I write many hubs about automatic transmissions because I fix...
