What is the least words you can write in a hub?
I have some information I would like to share with the world, but I fear what I have will not be long enough for a hub and don't like being knocked back. Does anyone know how short we can have our hubs?
I don't know what is the word limit as dictated by Hubpages, but I would suggest never going below 400 words. That limit is what is desired by most directories today, and it has also become the new standard on most popular websites today.
The recommended amount for ranking higher in HP and Google is 500+, but this is not to say that it's a solid rule. A hub that has over 300 words can be comfortably interesting. You might want to add a few pictures and a video or two to make it a little more presentable.
If the hub has too little content it will be flagged for low quality, so research your article well so that you can achieve the high quality of over 500 words to rank higher. I would say aim for more than 300 if you can't do the 500+.
For your hub to be entered into any contest on HP the hub must have 500+ words to qualify.
Poems can have any amount of words.
A hub of at least 500 words is good. Don't worry about your hub not getting a specific minimum number of words. Just start writing it, you wouldn't notice, your article had grown so much more than you ever expected. It's base on experience! Once your brain started to work on your article, you can't stop it from suggesting great ideas! Cheers! I believe you can do it!
