Ancestry.com I believe they are sending out fraudulant emails in order to induce us to rejoin
i recently got a strange email from a "fellow" member saying he was related to some of my relatives and he could help me fill out my tree. I had dropped my membership 4 months ago. Anyway I joined again so I could contact this person. Turns out he had not been on the site for 6 months and the relatives he claimed were mine were the same name but different people. I also wrote to the email address he left but got no answer. I think ancestry is hiring people to write fraudulent emails to get us to rejoin to connect with those people. Have you heard of this from others? how can I find others
Your comment is the first I've heard of this. I don't have any information or suggestions. I also receive strange emails of various types--Nigerian scams, etc. I just delete them.

I was ok with the notification emails that grouped several things, but please stop sending me emails on everything. I'm getting comment emails, forum emails, fan mail emails, etc. Please stop.
