The best place to vacation

   The best vacation I had was a trip around America starting in New York, then San Fransisco, Yeosemite and Las vegas. The best road trip ever. I would like to know your fav vacations, as next year I am hoping to do a round the world trip.

      I have been there twice and loved it. The trouble being I am very well travelled and looking for some new places, but would still go back there again.

   I would say, Grenada, West Indies! It is known as the 'Isle of spice' !! When you get off the plane you can smell the nutmeg, hmmmmmm! It is a good sized Island yet not overly developed. There is a huge beautiful Rain Forest. Plus depending  upon your budget you could do some Island hopping in the Caribbean.
   
   Seeing that you are in the UK is an advantage to fly direct from London... Great locals and Beautiful experience!
   
   
   btw ~ also great currency exchange..they use @EC= Eastern Caribbean currency...so you get great value in comparison from the pound...

      we are thinking of going for around two months. my brother lives in Thailand so this is top of the list.

         With that much time, the sky is the limit. You could do Thailand AND someplace else. I spent two months in South America earlier this year and had a blast! Still, it's truly amazing how fast two months can whiz by. Since you'd already be in Asia, I'd probably see everything I wanted to see in that part of the world and just concentrate your efforts there.

    I've been to Europe alone 3x and met up with some folks...of all places Venice and Budapest was great.
    
    Europe in general is so rich with culture and differences from country to country...going couch-hopping or whatever it is called in Europe with friends next summer and hopefully Japan eventually. Haha, I 'll log just on here to tell what's my new best vacation spot when it happens.

    I've been to few countries around South East Asian, and looking to expand my views much more in the time to come. So far, aside from my own country ^0^ I find Thailand has a lot of interesting places. But don't expect of much high tech system though. A different and new kind of scenario perhaps the thing you'll find around this region.
    
    I'm going up north to Hong Kong this coming November but the place I'd say would be a great place to visit( even though I've never been there yet ^0^) is of course my fav country -Japan. Hope I'll get there somewhere next year...
