I just hit 1,000 hub views!
Yay!
And google is hot on hubpages tail for traffic sources (only 10 clicks behind today!)
Pr0mmy Haven't heard that one before :-P. New hubbers - KEEP IN THERE! It's only been 5 weeks and I'm already starting to see benefits.
Psh, I joined around the same time as you and only have 360 views. D:
I guess I gotta get writing and promoting.
Congrats!
congratulations with your success, as your hubs get better ratings and your fan base increases you should find the next 1000 will come around quicker, If you would like a little more advice on increasing traffic to your hubs you may wish to read this hub or some others from the same section.

Oh, I am so jealous! Great Job! Can you share the secret? LOL
I sort of found a niche. I go to raves/electronic music shows a lot (not for the drugs - I really dislike how people do that - I wish they would go to a rock concert, or better yet stay home). Part of the scene is giving back to other people. I'm slightly obsessed with lights, so I do that by giving light shows. I realized there were virtually NO tutorials on the internet about giving glove light shows, so I wrote a hub on it (well actually 4 hubs). I am already near the top of the page on google search (3rd non video link down) for 'glove light show' and it is the first non video link for the same yahoo search. (It's the first text link if you type in 'glove light show tutorial' on both google and yahoo.) So I suppose I just found something that was pretty commonly searched, but didn't have much information. I'm going to keep writing hubs on lights - different light types, orbit light shows, glowstringing/poi light shows - while at the same time looking for another niche to fill.
I got discouraged at first because I wasn't seeing any clicks, but I recently had my first amazon purchases through the hubs and I also had a bunch of ad revenue come in over the last week. Encouraging!
I suppose it's not really a secret - it's just content rich hubs on a topic that has a decent (not huge, but decent) search base and not a lot of competition. I got lucky :-P.
Wow, that second thousand views came fast!
Up to 2,000 views, and I had my highest adsense day yet! (And my amazon conversion rate is at like 115% for 10 clicks!
Yay hubpages.

I’ve been reading many questions on the forums about how to get more traffic to your hubs. I’m a great believer in testing something, analysing the results, refining and sharing, and I approached the subject of how to get hub views in a practical methodical way. I’ll share my techniques below and...
