Why doesn't Hub Hoping show me some fresh content?

I like to hub hop. It gives me the opportunity to see hubs I might not look for as well as discover authors that I have not found yet. But it seems whenever I start hopping hubs, most of the hubs that come up are the same ones in my current feed. Shouldn't a program be in place to help reduce the number of hubs that appear in both places? Hub hopping is meant to discover new topics and writers, isnt it?

I write almost everyday and I write on a varitey of topics as well as read many other authors work. I know I provide variety and I know variety is out there so I am wondering why you do not?

That is strange, whenever I hub-hop I only see newly published hubs, usually from persons I don't know. Most times it's the new hubbers hubs that show up when you hop.

Yes your suggestion is good. It only shows hubs that were recently published.

I think to a degree it brings you new things but it is also influenced by popularity of certain hubs which just keep popping up.

I tend to get a good mixture. But sometimes the same topics will turn up and if I don't like them I keep 'hopping' until it changes, then I get a good mix again. I've found that if I say read two poetry hubs, then I get a few poetry turning up over the next few clikcs. So as I said I keep hopping until I get a subject that interests me.

I get the same thing about 10 Hubs that often repeat. I go through them again quickly and once in a while I'll get some fresh Hubs to hop.

In fact last time I Hub-Hopped, I actually got my own most recently published Hub. How is that possible?
