Hi. I am pretty new to this. When we are in the editing mode on one of our Hubs, one button is "unpublish." Are we supposed to retire our articles after a bit of time? I guess that diminished traffic will cause our author rating and scores to start falling. On the other hand, every open article is a potential for enlightening someone and getting those money-making clicks. Please advise me and thanks!
it is an option you have to unpublish a hub that you have written, if you are not happy with it or if you feel that it has run its course, it is a good idea though to keep all of your hubs, because you never know when they could become trendy again.....jimmy
One good use for UNPUBLISH is to take a published hub offline while you're editing it. Saves the embarrassment of having someone open it after you have done a temporary save part way through a big change.

Since I finished the apprenticeship, and after umpteen updates and changes made on HP, my traffic has never picked up. I can't remember the last time I saw any more than 40 views a day. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on writing better articles. I like my articles but want to make them better.

I have a series of 3 hubs on a topic. I originally labeled them as parts I,II and III.However, I have since learned that such a device is not to the liking of either HP or Google.I started to edit them, one at a time, and found some awkwardness (I must have written while I was tired), and...

I have been noticing that when I enable the copyright notice in the display options in the HubTool, that it sometimes gets shut off. Then I have to enable it again. This has been happening ever since the feature was first introduced and I've been trying to discover what I did just before it...

I haven't been very active on hubpages but occasionally I log in to check how my articles are doing. Today I was gobsmacked to see that three of my star articles have been edited and the traffic for these hubs has plummeted and for the first time in 13 months I didn't make the payment cut for this...
