Is it alright to submit my published hub articles to ezinearticles? Does this break HubPages policy?

I have checked ezinearticles policy - they are ok, so long as I can prove that I am the original author. I've also checked Google Webmaster Guidelines which says 'Duplicate content on a site is not grounds for action on that site unless it appears that the intent of the duplicate content is to be deceptive and manipulate search engine results.'
I'm not sure what HubPages policy is on republishing stuff elsewhere.

Listed in the Help section of Hubpages (the Terms And Conditions) under the heading

    - My Hub Has Been Moderated For Duplicate Content; What Does This Mean?
Your Hub's content has been detected as published previously on another site. Duplicate content is not allowed on HubPages. Your Hub may also be moderated for duplicate content in cases where we determine there is substantial similarity to another work. This includes close paraphrasing, among other forms of misappropriation.

I know you want to have your work all over the internet but HubPages is a place for one of a kind, unique only type content.

Hubpages does not allow duplicate articles. The content has to be unique. See the official policy here :

    http://hubpages.com/faq/#duplicate_content

You can write a summary of your published hubpages article in ezine (of-course in different words) and give a link to the original article in hubpages from ezine. This is a good way of promoting your hubs.

Your Hubpages article and ezine article should not be verbatim similar ..

Thanks but just to clarify it uses the words 'publish previously'...So what about hubs that have already been published on HubPages.

You can do this if you remove the article from HP first. You might want to do that with hubs that have become idle, for instance. I know of people who have moved articles that weren't doing so well on HP onto other sites where the results were better

Hub Pages does say the content can be copied provided u have the authors permission. So i wonder whether it applies to everything or just pics and stuff.

My suggestion - do not copy it. you will lose on potential earnings by pasting the same work on ezine. In a worse case scenario the article there may rank above your original one

I suggest you re write the article or spin it as it is called in internet marketing, you can do this manually or with a piece of software or outsource it have somebody else do it for you for a few bucks.

Both article directories require of you to publish unique content.
