I just published my first hub but got a score of 47. Does the score matter? How can I improve it?

I am assuming this is a score on formatting and not content?

It will improve over time is the short answer.  When I first post my hubs, they all have a low hubscore (usually around 45-50).  Add links to your hub and connect to others' hubs, make sure the title is easy to search, and also make sure the right tags, category and summary is also connected to your hub.  Hopefully, the score will go up during time, but the hubscore has a lot to do with traffic and views.  That's why yours is so low right now--nobody has seen it yet.  Hub hoppers and your followers will see it eventually and the score will rise.  Good luck and I hope this helps!

Thank you for asking this question, as I was wondering the same time myself. Great answer brittanytodd.
