I have seen pages at HubPages in Google Blog search results. Does Google treats HubPages as Blogs?
Having done a couple of quick tests, it appears Google lists some hubpages in the Blogs search, and some in the main search.
It may be to do with quality of content, or it may be that Google is doing some clever stuff, looking at the content of a hub and deciding whether it is more like blog content or full on editorial content.
I didn't see any content that I searched on in both - they were in one or the other, but that doesn't mean there isn't duplication as I only did a few tests.
So, the answer seems to be... sometimes.

There have been several theories about what content Google is penalising and rewarding in the search results but at the moment it does seem a bit random (from my end).
