Should censorship exist in a hub platform?

While a hub expresses an opinion or a general opinion it still is only an opinion. When does it represent a danger, if danger there is? Shall we censor it?
A hub platform is a microcosm of a society, if we gag it with censorship it becomes a dictatorship.

Then you have answered your own question with your last sentence.

Hubpages is not a democracy, it is a privately owned entity and that entity has been kind enough to open up a platform for writers.  I may not agree with all of Hubpages policies but I do respect their right to make those policies and I am free to leave if it becomes painfully evident that I cannot express myself here.

If HubPages didn't have rules then this site would be totally overrun within a couple of hours by SPAM and articles by racists, pornographers and other nonsense. So ...I'd say yes. They're trying to make the site a nice 'sandbox' that everyone can play in.
