Why am I getting this error with Google Restricted by robots.txt (6)?
I just logged into my Google webmaster tools to check see if my hub has been indexed. I see under errors it has this - Restricted by robots.txt ?(6)?. There are 6 urls with errors two of which are dated jan. 12 and others jan. 13. Is this normal? Is there something I need to do about this?
I only worry about this common type of problem if the errors are on pages that I actually want indexed. You can't really control this here because it is a server side thing but on your own site it's easy. IT sounds like you know how to fix it for your own site but not here. I think there is some kind of restriction for the first year if I am remembering correctly? But you have 8 hubs in 2 years so it should have been lifted. Apart from talk to an admin that's my best advice
thanks for the reply. Yesterday I went and pinged my hub and that seemed to do the trick because this morning when I went to check under google tools the site looks to be crawled as a few keywords was showing up.

Elsewhere on the forums people are reporting very long delays in getting indexed by Google - the delays seem to be increasing. Obviously this has been caused by the NOINDEX tag added to new hubs when under review and to ZZZ hubs while being reconsidered. Surely this is of concern to HP? As a writer...
