Don't think anyone knows that, it fluctuates all the time. lol I think we can all tell you that, and some of us just ignore it! lol
It is a rank that depends upon amount of traffic to the hubs, the reputation of the hubber, the response of other hubbers to your hub and the uniqueness of the content of the hubs.
You can increase the hub score by writing original and useful hubs and helping the community by taking parts in forums and replying the answers.
Please read also the faqs: http://hubpages.com/faq
I think this would help..

There are lots of unknowns, and I think it's best to take a steady and sure approach (a few hubs and comments here, a few questions and answers there). That way in a month or two it should ensure a good hubscore.
Things that are taken into account when calculating HubScore: The amount of traffic your Hub receives, including traffic from HubPages as well as other outside sources, The length of your Hub, The uniqueness of the content within your Hub, The number of thumbs-up votes from unique users, The number of comments, The overall value of you as a member of the HubPages community and yea copied content typically scores lower than more unique content.
It is like the Stock Market.
It goes ups and downs. Hard to tell what is the control factor.
I guess it will likely be your participation with this site as often as you can.
Have you ever played with a yo-yo? It is about as important as that. It goes up and down 'like a yo-yo'.
Why it goes up and down is a mystery. Does it matter? is also a mystery. But strangely intriguing!
Your hub score is the number on your profile picture, yours is currently 72 and the number on your hub photos. This is the ranking of your hubs and profile page. Since I think we're not supposed to post our own links, you can go to my profile page and read my 1000 word hub on this subject. I hope it will help.
Good question .I am also in search of the answer. I got some idea. Thanks a lot
