Do you think your friends on hubpages really read what you write?
I try to keep up with all my followers and people I follow, and make a comment, even if it is a quick one, just to let them know I read the hub and was there. I think it is the right thing to do.
I think people sample stuff all time time but read beyond a para only if what they are reading is interesting and relevent to them.
When you are new to hubpages your followers and people you interact with are most likely to read your articles ....... because it is unlikely in start to get impressions from google .........so interacting more with people automatically brings readers
Lucy, that's pretty much what I do. I check in on my followers and comment on any of their new posts. I also look for new posters in my interest areas and welcome them to the community. When time allows (not as often as I'd like) I also browse my areas of interest. I skim new articles, read those that offer a new take on a topic.

I am still new to Hubpages and have been enjoying a rather successful start. Thank you to those who have voted my articles up and those few of you who have begun to follow me. But I have noticed one thing of late and maybe it is the way it goes but I think it is disrespectful. I have commented on a...

I just started writing here a couple of days ago and I really like it so far but I wanna network and connect with more people. How do some people have over 1000 followers, is it because they have been here for awhile or do they just write awesome articles? Also if you could drop any hints on how to...
