Been thinking about getting a tattoo.  What's your opinion about women with tattoo's?

Ooooh now you have hit me on a sore subject. For the record I hate them. Yes hate...I have none and was so upset when my 17year old came home with this....THING up his belly. It wasn't even straight and it is horrid. Sorry I have a very strong opinion on this and most older people who had them 40 years ago hate their tatoo's as now they are dated and ..well ..old just like them lol.

sorry, didn't mean to upset anyone.  Of course, I'm not a young pretty thing, I'm old and dated.  When I tell my mom I'm thinking about getting a tat, she always says, It might look neat now, but do you think it will look like when you're 80.  To which i reply, It will look like the rest of my 80 year body, and who will care.  I mainly do it just to aggravate her

there is better art forms. What is wrong with the usual makeup for enhancement of beauty? And Helen is correct IMO.

As in a millimetre long. Now this would be OK but I still don't like them.

People might be more interested in reading threads if they had appealing titles...

Tattoos are fine if you want them, I personally don't. It doesn't bother me if women have them.
