If you're writing for Hubpages from the UK - is Adsense or the Hubpages Ad Program better?
I'm writing from the UK and was just wondering if any UK Hubpages writers have any views on whether staying with Google Adsense (and getting paid in £) will be more profitable than changing over to the Hubpage Ad Programme (which might give more clicks but you're getting paid in dollars)?
Taking into account exchange rates and so on...
Thoughts anyone? )
My gut feeling is that the HP programme is better as it also includes Ebay sales but wanted to check what others think....
Good question, and being in the UK myself, Google AdSense earns me next to nothing but then again I’m no writer. I guess someone with more writing skills and creativity would earn more than I do with AdSense. Hubpages programme pays me more than Google at the moment
Now this I'm interested in, but I thought you could use both. I'm not sure, but if you can, do so ^^
Either will earn you money if you get enough traffic. It may be in dollars, but it gets converted so it really doesn't matter. To get between $3-5 dollars a day you need 1000 views per day. If you get 1000 views a day with just adsense you might get a few clicks, you might not. You could potentially earn a lot more, or maybe less as different ads pay different amount. The only way to tell is to try each out for a month and see which earns you more money. Pointless doing it before you've got quite a few hubs and a fair bit of traffic though.

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...
