When you link to another person's Hub, does it matter how you do it?
Hub karma is important, but actually finding the link you want to insert can be difficult. If you know the URL of the hub you want to link to (ie someone else's hub) and you place that via the insert link, not by finding the hub through the hub search part of the link dialog (which is not very good and doesn't get the most relevant hubs, even if you know the title of the hub), does HP still see that link as a hup page link for the purposes of karma?
I do think you need to link in the body to have it recognized for hub karma, but having other relevant links adds to your overall score. I like to add links at the end of the hub so that visitors can see a short description before they click, but I also include them in the body. Probably not much help, I know!

Is it OK to put links to other hubs in the comment boxes?Sometimes I want to point a reader to another hub of mine where I know they will find the answer to their question. So is it over promotional to add a link to another hub of mine in the comment box. I have done it in the past and haven't had...

I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub which may be very relevant to the specific content in a section of a hub, if it...

This is another question I couldn't find an answer to, perhaps because it's pretty random/specific.I came across an article (about how women think) to which I have very strong opposing viewpoints. Would it be in violation of HP rules to compose an article of my own combating the views expressed by...

I am not looking to name names here as this happens quite a lot on Hubpages, but can someone please clarify whether or not it is against the rules for a Hubber to come to your hub, leave a comment and then include a link to one of their own hubs as a part of that comment. I know it says under each...

I know that things have changed here quite a lot on HubPages since 2011. I have been writing strategy guide (sort of) gaming hubs. I'm wondering if I am allowed to post a link to another hub within a hub if it's relevant and may benefit the internet reader? Sorry for the typo in title. It should...

Do you have to ask permission to use someone's hub?If you find someone's hub very relevant to what you are writing about, do you need to ask their permission before posting a link to their hub?
