Will my hub score go up overall for simply creating more hubs or should I concentrate on improving the ones I have?

More quality hubs the higher the individual score the better your author score will be...

      this will be helpful.

concentrate on quality writing, make your hubs worth reading. there are plently of people here with many hubs, but some articles I feel are not quality. you want people, traffic, coming to read your work because it gives good information and is a good, well written article. smile

        "# 96-100 - 99.9 percentile (3000 page views a month)
        # 91-95 - 99.3 percentile (2200 page views a month)
        # 86-90 - 97.7 percentile (1300 page views a month)"

I'm at 4k views this month and I'm only at 91 sad

Thanks for the link though big_smile

Actually, I think those numbers aply to scoring for individual hubs. A lot more goes into your author score, with your hubs being only one of many pieces to the pie. smile

So by 'more quality hubs' do you mean better quality or more in quantity?

    Better quality
but the more you write, the better you get
    and thus a higher hubscore.

Don't concentrate on numbers... concentrate on quality content and write on subject matter that you actually know about.
Set yourself a writing goal and allow yourself the time to research fully on your chosen subjects.
You will realistically need to publish more hubs, but think about your passions and develop your niche along those lines.
    Good Luck. smile

Thanks a lot for your help.  I'll slowly build up quality hubs as I go along then.

Honestly, I think it is a little unfair that "the more text you have in a hub = high score."

I have several blogs that I would love to copy over to my hubpages that are fairly short and sweet.

However, that is the belly of the beast, I suppose.

Always use this: "Quality over Quanity"
