    Holy Smoke!  Anyplace but Reddit!!!!!

You want SEARCH ENGINE traffic - any other traffic is .....not so much "bad," as it is truly "less good."

Thing is...we have to share some links in order for search engines to know that we exist, and that we matter.

I'll give you a short list that I do use myself:

    digg.com
    redgage.com
    folk'd.com
    a1webmarks
    myspace
    facebook
    twitter
    delicious
    google bookmarks
    Google+
    Best Reviewer
    live journal
    tumblr

and there's more, but as those came to mind first...those are probably what I use most.

I agree with the list Wesman Todd Shaw has provided. I just want to add few more like stumble upon.com, mixx.com, sphinn.com.

i like Digg but in order to see any real benefit you have to get to the first page. delicious and pinterest can give you a nice steady stream of traffic. not big bursts like digg but steady.

Look up backlinks in the search box on hub pages. There are tons of hubs with links to sites you can put articles and links on. Good luck in your efforts!

stumble upon etc. Better still, instal the google add this tool bar. This makes the submission to these networking sites easier.  You sign up with them and when you publish any article, you can immediately add the link via the add this tool bar to these sites.
