How you become hub of the day?

I know this is a stupid question but can some one please explain it?

No, none of my hubs have ever become hub of the day because Hub of the day tend to have really nice pictures.  And my hubs usually don't have good photos in it.

No one can really explain it fully, because it is a behind-the-scenes selection by HP staff.
All you can do is strive to write high-quality hubs, with proper grammar and spelling.  The topics should be "evergreen," meaning of interest to a wide range of audiences all year round.
Well-done photos, either your own, (or legally used and properly credited) are also a great idea.
Beyond that, there is a certain amount of mystery and secrecy.  wink

Check out the Hub Pages blog post on the matter for further details.

    Best wishes!

I had submitted lots of photo essays for hubpages contest. I did not win any of the prizes, but after two months one of my entries was selected as the hub of the day.
By looking at selections of the hub of the day I can say, your hub has to be commented by Simone Smith. LOL

Always remember that the only stupid question is a question which is never asked.

Thank you so much everyone for answering my question.

Thanks DzyMsLizzy, the link you have provided has helped me a lot to understand on this topic. Have a great day!

I don't understand how Hub of the Day is selected.  I see what I consider to be very strange/odd (daft, how on earth did they win this?) winners of this honour.  Perhaps I'm annoyed that after two years of writing featured hubs I've never been selected but it seems to me this is done either by automated process or some odd selection process. It's really not a big deal except that it will increase your views for a day and therefore increase $$ a little.
