If someone signs up to hubpages and later someone signs up under them, does that help you?
Will this improve your hubscore or help you financially (do you get a cut)?
Based on what I have read, it doesn't seem that this is the case, but I was just curious...
oh yes! It means that you will get a percent of what they make. Its not very much, but it does HELP.
I have a few people signed up as my referrals. I also got a nice chunk of change from the traffic.
Hope this helped you!
Absolutely! This is a good way to increase your traffic as well. Be sure to add your referral tracker to each and every hub as well as your profile page. Every little bit of income adds up!
what percentage do you make? Again, this is off a referral of a referral...
You only get a referral percentage (10%) for the first person that signs up (otherwise it would be like some kind of pyramid scheme and Hubpages definitely doesn't do that). If your referrals get referrals themselves they get the 10% share of impressions, you don't get any of that.
Referrals have nothing to do with Hubscore.

I've had a few people sign up under my trackers when I send out emails of my hubs, but I was wondering what some of the rest of you have done as far as setting up a more unique way to have friends and family sign up here at hubpages? For some strange reason I don't think my profile link for sign...

Like referrals.1. Why insert an _referralcode into the URL. Couldn't you come up with a dynamic insertion solution? If an insertion was required, what's wrong with appending it at the end of the URL as in ?referrer=xyz? or would that make it too easy for hubbers?2. Why do pages like the Referrals...

I have been wondering for quite some time what happens if say someone is searching on google and finds one of my pages because my link on google doesn't have my referral ID. So, if someone signs up directly after visiting one of my hubs, would I get them as a referral? I hope so! If not, I think it...

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve site structure, we are removing HubPages referral links from published Hubs by deleting their tracker IDs. HubPages referral links were always intended for use outside of HubPages, and because they redirect, they may cause some page rank to be lost. ...

I just started hubbing and I was wondering if those who had been here a while could let me know what kind of results they have had with the referral program? Has anyone tried running advertisements with their hubpage url anywhere? What kind of results did that get? Thanks!
