Do you believe in the supernatural? Have you felt/seen a spirit?

    I haven't seen a ghost but I have walked
into my cousin's old house (early 1800's)
and never felt so scared and threatened
    in my life.
The whole house smelled musty and the
wooden floor creaked ever so slightly as
I walked across it.  As I walked upstairs
through the dimly lit landing, I felt if the
    stairs would break apart.
The attic was sealed off by a large plyboard with
three screws attached.  My cousin said that
she had never explored the attic before
and wanted to know if I wanted to check it
    out with her.
I was hesitant but said ok, let's do it. After
the screws were removed and the plyboard
was set aside, we peered up into the
    black vastness; there was an eerie silence;
you could have heard a pin drop.
As we climbed up slowly into the attic, I felt
a cool breeze and wanted to go back
but my cousin said Dont stop now and gave
me a flashlight to check the attic floor.
I shone the light across the floor and saw
rusty mousetraps and a bunch of dead
insects.  I got spooked and rushed out of
    the attic and back downstairs.
My cousin told me that one time her husband
was getting ready for work and he saw a
shadow of a man across the bathroom
    mirror.
I wouldn't doubt his story one bit.  I can
walk into a place and feel happy and another
place I feel sad or threatened.
It's the energy levels around me that drives
my emotions, but that day I felt that my life
was in jeopardy if I stayed longer that I
    had to.
My older sister has messed with the Ouija
board and had seen door handles jerk
rapidly back and forth, a friend's mother
who looked like she was possessed and
surreal screams coming from a cemetary.
My older sister and her friends got rid of
the Ouija board by throwing it into a church
window and running as fast as they could
from the cemetary grounds, never looking
    back.
I am intrigued by these stories, was just
wondering if anyone out there has more
    stories to share?  Thank you!

Hey rivet...Welcome to hubpages! didn't say that on the last thread I wrote on that was yours.

And yes I have seen spirits and I have felt them. Haven't felt them as strong as a couple of my friends but i do sense them from time to time. There is actually one lingering here in the apartment. I also have two hubs about the ghosts that I have encountered if you want to read them later on.

Yes, I have seen and felt spirits, many times.  While I don't enjoy hunting them down, I seem to encounter plenty.
